We have recently had individuals soliciting in our neighborhood, claiming to live on the opposite side of the home they are visiting, in the hopes that the person doesn't know they don't live in the neighborhood. These individuals will use the names of other residence in the neighborhood to show they know people on the opposite side, stating that these "fellow" residence sent them to you on a reference.
**Alert -- This is not the case, and is a lie.**
These individuals have been confronted, and asked to leave our neighborhood. If someone comes to your door saying they live on the other side of the circle, are selling magazines, and indicate they know someone by name on the other side of the circle, tell them this is a posted no solicitation neighborhood, and they must leave. If after asking them to leave, they continue to solicit, call the authorities. Not 911, but the Sheriff's dispatch desk.
